On the morning of July 18, China Post Group Corporation Limited and the Chinese Table Tennis Association (CTTA) held a strategic cooperation agreement renewal press event in Beijing. The attendees included Chairman Liu Aili, President Zheng Guoyu, Director Su Jian, and Vice Presidents Qu Yunhai and Wen Shaoqi from China Post; President Wang Liqin and Vice President Qin Zhijian from CTTA; gold medalists of the World Team Table Tennis Championships in Doha such as Wang Chuqin, Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu and Kuai Man.

In 2023, China Post officially became a strategic partner of CTTA. Since then, national table tennis players have participated, as special guests, in the design release and the first-day-of-issue ceremony of the zodiac Dragon stamps for the Year of Jiachen, and promotional events for the Tan sheep (a distinctive local breed known for its tender meat) industry in Yanchi, Ningxia Hui autonomous region. The two parties have worked together to launch EMS envelopes, which have generated over 4 billion exposures through diversified and multi-dimensional cross-boundary brand communication, demonstrating the powerful collaboration between the two “national teams”.

At the event, Liu Aili, on behalf of China Post, extended his warm congratulations to the Chinese table tennis players on their outstanding achievements at the World Team Table Tennis Championships in Doha. He stated, China Post has been deeply involved in major sporting events such as the Olympic Games Paris 2024, the19th Asian Games and the World Team Table Tennis Championships in Doha. Leveraging its extensive network covering both urban and rural areas and reaching the world, China Post ensured precise mail delivery via dedicated routes, vehicles and personnel in major events like the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou. Moreover, China Post has pioneered a new model of “sports plus public welfare plus rural revitalization”, enabling the in-depth integration of its brand concept of “More Than Mail” and the philosophy of “Table Tennis Benefiting the People”.

Wang Liqin said in his speech, this agreement renewal reflects the shared commitment and missions of the two “national teams”. By leveraging their complementary strengths, the two parties will deliver the “Ping-Pong Spirit” to every household through postal routes, thus contributing to the building of a strong country.

At the event, the Chinese national table tennis players participated in the release of the latest EMS envelopes and collaborated with the stamp designers of China Post to draft the designs of the zodiac Horse stamps for the Year of Bingwu.
