Since the beginning of this year, Wuhan Postal Branch has seized opportunities brought about by the Russian cross-border e-commerce market, and taken multiple measures to promote Russia-bound new products, thus developing 37 clients successfully and driving rapid growth in the international parcel, express and logistics business. By the end of July, the revenue of its international parcel, express and logistics business had increased by over 60 percent year-on-year.
In September 2025, China Post launched the PUDO (self-pickup points in Russia) postal logistics product for light and small items, an economical logistics solution exclusively tailored for Russia-bound items under 500 grams on Ozon, a Russian cross-border e-commerce platform. Since its launch in Wuhan earlier this year, this product has attracted Hubei-native sellers to return from cities like Yiwu and Shenzhen and develop their business at their hometown. At the same time, leveraging the warehousing resources of Hubei Postal Branch’s cloud-based warehouse, Wuhan Postal Branch in Hubei province launched a special campaign to attract clients, providing sellers with one-stop services for warehousing, packaging and international export. So far, Wuhan Postal Branch has successfully signed contracts with two international clients for warehousing services, with a cumulative shipment volume exceeding 195,000 pieces.
Wuhan Postal Branch precisely targeted clients and set up a special team for targeted marketing. They actively carried out in-depth cooperation with Ozon, jointly hosting official promotional events. Wuhan Postal Branch also encouraged postal branches of different districts to participate in offline events organized by Ozon in Wuhan, so that they could reach out to cross-border e-commerce sellers for customer acquisition at the source. As a vice-chairman unit of the Cross-border E-commerce Branch of Hubei Electronic Commerce Association, Wuhan Postal Branch actively promoted various association events, continuously enhancing its brand influence in the cross-border e-commerce sector. Hubei Electronic Commerce Association set up an Ozon seller training and incubation base to provide targeted incubation for cross-border e-commerce sellers. Wuhan Postal Branch established a regular liaison mechanism with the base to tap into the shipping needs of the new sellers in a timely manner, thus forming a sustainable closed loop of training, incubation and shipping.
